This course offers the students of the Water and Sustainable Development MSc-programme a unique opportunity to be actively engaged in different debates about theories and approaches to transformations, where knowledges are co-produced in collaborative solidarity between different actors, institutions and nature, particularly in the water and sanitation field. The module also discusses the topic of advocacy and explain how does it work in practice; and how it relates to transformations. This course enables learners to integrate and apply the knowledge and skills learned throughout the study programme, and also helps them to develop self-reflective and forward-looking professional capacities that academic and practitioners require when working towards environmentally just transformations in challenging and complex contexts.
